DARKEST ERA pre-orders for “Severance” CD open now

From today, Cruz del Sur Music officially opens the pre-order of DARKEST ERA‘s “Severance”, to be released in United States on June 3rd and in Europe on June 13th in Europe. All orders will be dispatched immediately.

“Severance” features the remarkable artwork of Costin Chioreanu, and was described by Last Rites webmagazine as “the sound of a remarkable band, wholly at peace with itself“. Indeed, all fans of the “Last Caress of Light” will find in Darkest Era‘s latest work a matured band that really feels comfortable having reached the top of their game. With a sound described as “a collision between Iron Maiden, Thin Lizzy and Primordial” – thanks again Last Rites!-, the band is ready to hit 2014 like a storm, first with the release of “Severance”, and then with a UK tour planned for late September 2014. This week Magister Templi will start a European tour with San Francisco’s metal masters and former Cruz del Sur Music‘s Recording Artists SLOUGH FEG. APOSTLE OF SOLITUDE signs deal with Cruz del Sur Music

Cruz Del Sur Music proudly announces the inking of a deal with US doomsters APOSTLE OF SOLITUDE for the release of their new album “Of Woe and Wounds”.

The album was recorded by Mike Bridavsky at Russian Recording in Bloomington, Indiana (USA) in May 2014, and is the first album featuring new members Steve Janiak and Dan Davidson. The addition of Davidson and Janiak has opened the classic Apostle of Solitude sound to new depths, vocal dynamics, and dimensions. Cover artwork for the album is currently being done by David Csicsely.

“Of Woe and Wounds” will be AoS third full length studio album after their 2008 release “Sincerest Misery” and “The Last Sunrise” (2010) and will be released in compact disc, vinyl and digital in October 2014 on Cruz del Sur Music.

Apostle of Solitude will be performing new songs from the upcoming release at the Days of the Doomed fest IV, in Cudahy, WI (USA) June 20 and 21.
