ARGUS European tour, March 2016!

March is quickly approaching and it’s time to mark these dates on your calendar since ARGUS is coming back to Europe for a 10-show tour starting in Hamburg at the Hell Over Hammaburg festival and ending in their second home-town Dublin.

Other shows include shows at the Convention Rock n’Metal in Fismes, France on March 6 and the German Swordbrothers Festival on March 12.

Irish sensational STEREO NASTY will tour together with ARGUS, in support of their recently-released debut album “Nasty By Nature” (Stormspell Records).

Dates are as follows:

5 March – Little Devil, Tilburg, Netherlands
6 March – Convention Rock N Metal, Salles de Fetes, Fismes, France

U.S. metal band, ARGUS, is excited to announce their return to Europe in March 2016. The 10 date trek that begins March 4 will start at the Hell Over Hammaburg Festival and include performances at the Convention Rock n’Metal in Fismes, France on March 6 and the German Swordbrothers Festival on March 12. Very exciting news for all the ARGUS‘ fans in Europe. The band will be back in Europe in April 2015 for at least 2 shows, one of them at the prestigious ROADBURN FESTIVAL! But first the band will hit their European hometown Dublin, where a show is scheduled on April 10th at Gypsy Rose Rock and Blues Bar.
Mighty TERMINUS from Belfast has been confirmed as supporting act. Be there!

Back to ROADBURN FESTIVAL, here’s the official statement from the organizers:

“It is our pleasure to announce that Cruz Del Sur recording artists ARGUS will perform at the 20th edition of Roadburn Festival on Sunday, April 12 at the 013 venue in Tilburg, The Netherlands. Hailing from the Western Pennsylvania ARGUS has been building a reputation as one of the finest bands in the metal underground. Forging a potent mix of epic traditional metal, laced with moody passages and doom flourishes ARGUS brings a stunning double guitar attack, a tight and pounding rhythm section and strong, soaring vocals. Eschewing pure nostalgia for the “old school” ARGUS evokes the spirit of Iron Maiden, Thin Lizzy, Candlemass, Dio, et al all the while bringing their own personal, unique flair to their music. Their most recent release, Beyond the Martyrs was met with praise by critics worldwide and was received rabidly by their fanbase. The band has built a reputation as a tremendous live act having toured Europe most recently in the Autumn of 2013.
