STEEL PROPHET released “Tree of Knowledge”, the second video clip taken from the forthcoming album “Omniscient”, which is due on July 11 in Europe and July 8 in the U.S. on Cruz del Sur Music. Firstly streamed exclusively at www.apochs.net earlier this week, the video is now available on our YouTube channel. Please subscribe to keep updated on our bands’ engaging videoclips!

To see STEEL PROPHET‘s previous “Omniscient” video clip, titled “666 is Everywhere”, please follow this link.

“Omniscient” will be released in less than 3 weeks in a limited edition 36-page digibook, compact disc (24-page booklet) and digital album. We regret to inform the fans that, because of production delays, the vinyl edition is postponed to late August.

This much anticipated record comes ten years after the band’s latest studio release, and will be a concept album based on an original story written by STEEL PROPHET‘s guitarist and founder member Steve Kachinsky Blakmoor. Famous German artist Timo Würz delivered an amazing cover artwork, and prepared 12 original booklet illustrations which help explain the lyrics and story itself.

STEEL PROPHET is not new to telling stories throughout concept albums: in fact, its 1999 classic “Dark Hallucinations” featured the “Fahrenheit 451” story by Ray Bradbury. “Omniscient” will certainly continue the tradition in great style.

DARKEST ERA “Severance” CD officially released in Europe today along with new videoclip

DARKEST ERA have released a new video for the track ‘Beyond the Grey Veil’ on the same day that the band’s new album ‘Severance’ receives its European release via Cruz Del Sur Music. The video can be seen here:

Speaking about the new video, Guitarist Ade Mulgrew said: “Beyond the Grey Veil is the thematic centrepiece of the album. All roads lead to that song in some ways and it’s pretty representative of the kind of atmosphere we wanted to conjure up  on Severance. Even Costin Chioreanu based the album artwork on it.  The video was directed by Angus Mitchell, an extremely talented guy who was instantly on the same page as us in terms of the aesthetic we wanted to achieve.

CONVENT GUILT to release debut album “Guns for Hire” in October

ConventGuilt_bandshot2

CRUZ DEL SUR MUSIC announces the release of CONVENT GUILT debut “Guns for Hire” on October 7th 2014 on vinyl format.

Convent Guilt is a heavy metal band from Sydney, Australia, formed in 2010 that has released their initial 4 track demo in mid-2012. Featuring veteran members of the Australian metal scene, the band draws its influences from glorious and gritty ‘70s hard rock, the darker side of the NWOBHM and early ‘80s heavy metal from both sides of the Atlantic.

CONVENT GUILT‘s vocalist and bassist Ian remarked that “‘Guns for hire‘ was recorded at A Sharp Studios in Sydney and features 8 tracks of rough yet melodic hard rock/heavy metal. It is more polished than the Convent Guilt demo though we think it keeps the same charm. It sounds like four hard rock renegades riding headlong to oblivion. Get on board!”

Keep checking for updates and song previews, as “Guns for Hire” will definitely turn some heads in 2014!!
